Strength Training, Bodybuilding, Nutrition, and Correctional Exercise
A Eureka native, Jacob graduated from St. Bernards before moving on to CR where he ran track. He then transferred to Humboldt State earning his B.A. in clinical psychology in 2015. Jacob is currently in the last semester of his masters program studying Sports Performance Psychology with an emphasis in Coaching Science and has provisional acceptance to Cal Southern University where he will pursue a Doctorate degree in Psychology. His research area of study will focus on mental skills training and correctional exercise. He is also an NCAA accredited Certified Personal Trainer.
As a part of his studies, Jacob is in the process of earning a Personal Training certification (CPT) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Additionally, he is also en route to becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Jacob is very excited to be a part of our team and looks forward to further involving himself with his community.
Correctional Exercise, Strength Training, and Nutrition
Robert Manning was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts in the year 1988. Growing up in the North East, especially Boston, sports were everything. He played just about every sport growing up but chose to stick with baseball and later played at the collegiate level before dedicating most of his time to school. Robert attended Bridgewater State University, where he graduated with a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology.
Robert has been working in the health and fitness field for over 6 years now. Before moving to California in 2016, Robert worked for Massachusetts General Hospital where he worked with clientele ranging from pre/post surgery rehabilitation to athletes trying to better their overall performance. Working here alongside doctors, and nutritionist he gained valuable insight to help further his career in Personal Training.
Roberts specialties include corrective exercise, self myofasial release, strength training, sport specific training, bodybuilding, metabolic conditioning/HIIT training, and working with the senior population.
His style of training is very dependent on the individual. He also strives to get the most out of his clients, all while taking their safety into consideration first. Robert also has a good sense of humor and an openness about him which makes him easy to work with.

High Intensity Training and Nutrition
Cody’s extensive background includes seven years of personal training experience in San Diego, Palm Springs, and San Jose. He has an NSCA certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Health Science through Cal State University, and a degree in Pre-Nursing. We consider Cody a specialized trainer in in high intensity exercise that combines corrective positioning with a holistic health approach. His high energy, functional, and varied exercise model, while paralleling client’s nutritional needs, makes for a well-balanced training experience.
Injury Recovery, Strength and Conditioning
Jason has a Master’s Degree through Humboldt State University in Kinesiology. While attending school and after graduation he worked as a physical therapy aide where he developed proper skills and techniques in position correction, injury prevention, and injury recovery. Jason specializes in sports programming, youth athletics, and strength and conditioning. He provides well rounded services to a wide range of clients, young and old.
Weight Loss, Strength, Athletic Development
Kari has a Bachelor’s Degree through Sacramento State University in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy and an ASCM Personal Trainer Certification. She was a personal trainer in Roseville, California for a year before moving to the North Coast. As an athlete, Kari played volleyball and ran track in high school and college. She takes her academic and athletic knowledge and applies it to create specialized programs that revolve around weight loss and strength gains through various modes of exercise for her clients. She also specializes in pre-natal and postpartum fitness, injury prevention, post injury, and athletic development. Her diversity of knowledge gives a sense of whole fitness.
